‘Eega’ bags Rs 5 cr offer for Tamil version

Rajamouli is experimenting on a film titled ‘Eega’ in Telugu, with an animated character of a housefly ‘Eega’ and some live characters. There was a lot of discussion about the film in Film Nagar.

After Arundhati’s Tamil version proved a big hit, it was ‘Magadheera’ of Rajamouli, is all set to repeat the magic in Tamil, which is going to be released soon as ‘Maaveeran’.

Noticing the directorial abilities of Rajamouli, a prominent producer from Tamil reportedly approached Rajamouli recently with Rs 5 crore offer for his forthcoming film ‘Eega’ for the Tamil dubbed version.

Surprisingly, the film is just on sets but the producer offered such a fancy offer for the movie. If the deal was okay, the film would be released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages.
